General comments
Bij niet-ernstige infectie nut van behandeling niet bewezen.
Altijd corticosteroiden overwegen naast anti-parasitaire therapie.
Bij chorioretinitis consult oogheelkunde en tropencentrum (indicatie voor steroiden, vitrectomie)
Albendazol is geregistreerd voor kinderen vanaf 6 jaar. Bij kinderen tussen 1 en 6 jaar is albendazol wereldwijd uitvoering gebruikt en kan overwogen worden.
